TribalTique's northern branch, fondly known as TribalTique FoCo, is directed by Julia DiVerdi. Created to provide her advanced level students with performance opportunities, the group has received rave reviews by audiences in Fort Collins, Denver, Boulder and all the stops in between! Comprised of about ten dedicated dancers, these girls are willing to take on the toughest dance challenges transforming themselves from underwater sirens to circus clowns to disco divas!
Focused on sharp technique, lovely expression, and dynamic choreography, TribalTique FoCo has firmly landed at the top of the local belly dance scene. These ladies appear regularly in Fort Collins and beyond! They produce and star in their own show, "The Summer Spectacular", in Old Town Square every summer as well as co-produce TribalTique's annual Holiday Hafla. Always a crowd favorite, you can usually catch TribalTique FoCo in a show at Fort Collins' New West Fest and First Night events as well as the Denver People's Fair. Want to be a part of TribalTique FoCo?
Well, usually dancers are pulled from Julia's classes when they exhibit the technique, dedication, and interest in committing to a performing group. This usually happens after six months to a year of steadily attending both Conditioning and Drills and Level I belly dance classes. Occasionally a more advanced dancer will audition to join the company after a shorter period of instruction. So if this sounds like you, check out the
